| Global Box Gutter Information |
 |
The Global Box gutter re-writes the rule book. With two skins of aluminium, an air chamber between the outside skin and the internal face of the conservatory reduces condensation risk more than ever. This design enables but two box gutter adaptors to suit all situations. The adaptor slides under the aluminium location grooves, connecting directly to the normal gutter system inside the Box section not where it can be easily seen. A gutter does the same job as a bath hold water. Yet when you fit a bath you don't put fixing screws through the inside of the bath into the wall…..that's what you have done with box gutters! The Global system has a fixing plate to the wall, with the box sitting on it simple securing screws into the isolated chamber and no punctured gutters. Not to mention the considerable time invented for the installer. |

| Global Computerisation Information |
 |
Synseal has invested hundreds and thousands of pounds developing the First Degree computer system in conjunction with the Global Roofing System. Over 80% of the conservatories we manufacture do not have to be pre-assembled, removing unnecessary costs and time delays.
Glass and polycarbonate sizes come directly from the data sheets and templates are not even required for conservatories with valley gutters. Our perpetual development program is to improve turnarounds by moving conservatories from the build floor to on site in optimum time without jeopardising the quality.
We have developed the system to calculate conservatories from internal sill dimensions. Incredibly, some other systems still need the window frame dimensions to fabricate a conservatory. We have removed this recipe for error; internal sills are the same on all systems.
We currently produce a suite of reports, all at input stage; batching sheets, packing lists, installation plans, check lists etc. Once again not only making life easier and simpler for the fabricator, but removing the hidden costs of other systems by removing time….or you could say ‘inventing time'!

| Global Cresting Information |
 |
When we make a conservatory, any job that could be done in the factory, instead of on site, is done in the factory. It is for this reason that all crestings arrive on site pre-fitted and centred again inventing time for the installer.
The cresting interlocks into itself using a male and female water shroud, and now slides into the external locaters on the ridge cap. Keeping all water levels on the outside of the building and removing the need for holes to be drilled through the ridge top cap.As with nearly all Global Conservatory components the end cap is PVCu injection moulded to produce colour consistency throughout, not just far stronger products. |

| Global Eaves Beam Information |
 |
One eaves beam has been designed to suit all pitch, and strength requirements. The internal eaves cover can be cut to the exact installation size from our computer software. This means that the installer is not spending time cutting, mitring, and with the injection moulded corner joints - sticking. The cover simply slots into the moulding to produce the perfect finish, inventing more time for the installer. |

| Global End Caps Information |
 |
When we make a conservatory, any job that could be done in the factory, instead of on site, is done in the factory. It is for this reason that all end caps arrive on site pre-fitted …. again inventing time for the installer. The new range of sculptured Global end caps incorporate a lip to conceal the cut edge of rafter top cappings. Whilst the cleverly designed variable screw-port is totally concealed with a cover plate not a screw cap! As with nearly all Global Conservatory components the end cap is PVCu injection moulded to produce colour consistency throughout, not just stronger products. |

| Global Finial Information |
 |
The injection moulded Finial has a wide nineteen millimetre bottle cap thread. The Finial screws straight into the radius cap without breaking through to the inside of the building. |

| Global Fixing Plate Information |
 |
White PVCu conservatories have proven the test of time and have provided the perfect blend of aluminium strength, and beauty of PVCu cladding. HOWEVER, woodgrain cappings have a somewhat chequered past. The basic physics of dark colours retaining more heat than light colours has for years warped woodgrain conservatories.
For too long many have ignored, or worse still denied this simple physical fact. The Global engineers do not hold with these indefensiblestandpoints, and all of our woodgrain external cappings are made from aluminium. The rafter top caps are thenfoiled to reproduce the same finish. The difference- this finish will not have to be re-capped after every hot summer, produce leak points, or worse stillallow glazed panels to slide out!
We achieve this aluminium onto aluminium action with a PVC insert into the head of the section, the insert duplicates the clip from a white PVC top cap. The fitting technique is identical! As conservatories develop, not only do shapes andstyles become more varied but so do colours. Globalis available in three, ex-stock, foiled options. The long established mahogany, light oak, and the latest to be added to the range - rosewood.

| Global BBA Test Information |
 |
The industry recognised testing procedure for conservatory products is the British Board of Agrement certificate.
In 2004 Synseal's conservatory products were accredited with this prestigious standard – less than 12 months since the launch of the Global system. At the BBA's test centre in Watford , our roof was subjected to a water penetration test to a pressure of 300 Pascal – that's a Force 9 severe gale! Water was applied at a rate equivalent to 113 inches in only 24 hours.
The total annual rainfall in 2003 was 34 inches! Even an uplift pressure of 900 Pascals, a wind speed of 85 miles per hour, didn't worry the Global roof. Finally the conservatory withstood an applied load of 120 kilograms per square metre. That's four feet of snow to you and me.

| Global Glazing Bar Information |
 |
All Global glazing bars have an internal bolt slot,no fixing holes through any glazing bars reduces leak potential and saves time. This central groove is home to a substantial 13mm m8 fixing bolt. This bolt enables the rafter to hook directly into position- without playing the align two little bolts with two little holes at exactly the same oment game. Nuts are then fixed easily from inside ..not in the drainage channels on top of an un-built conservatory!
Aesthetically the Global glazing bars are sculptured. And with all gasket seals operating internally there
are no thick black tram lines either side of every rafter. The height of all three grades of rafter is 78 millimetres. Different grades are used in the same building where
required. For example, a P shape conservatory with a large lean too section uses the heavy duty bar, whilst only the standard bar on the Victorian section.

| Global Gutter Information |
 |
The Global Roofing System offers two guttering options; the first is the revolutionary swing fit guttering system which eliminates those fiddly and unsightly under gutter trims. The profile incorporates a clip and cloak mechanism to save time and effort. This single swing operation means there is no need for additional operations, like the spacing and fitting of gutter brackets.
Unlike other systems secured to the building at just five or six hundred millimetre centres, the load of this gutter is spread along its entire length, eliminating sags, and reducing the risk of leaks.
The basic shape of the gutter is symmetrical, resulting in the removal of left and right hand outlets.
The flatbase to the gutter sits away from the window frames, not over them; should the installer need to change the position of the outlet during installation this is achieved by simply fitting this spigot anywhere along the gutter, or even in a bracket! As Synseal blend and extrude the PVCu guttering system, not just the roof profiles, all Global white gutteringco-ordinates perfectly to the roof.
The Global roof system offers two guttering options, the latest offering being new for 2004 we launched the traditional style.
This option uses system specific brackets developed to work in harmony with the Global eaves beam. The brackets simply attach directly to the eaves, and the guttering is clipped into position.
This system offers great versatility for the more non-orthodox installations, enabling the installer to work with the guttering in awkward environments.

| Global Packaging Information |
 |
The devil is in the detail! For all the thought and creativity that goes into creating the fastest growing conservatory system in the market, it is still loaded and transported on at least two vehicles before installation.
It really won't matter how good it was if it arrives damaged! Thats why all Global Roof kits are put through an exhaustive packaging programme, giving the installer every opportunity to benefit from the Global time inventions.
Furthermore, our extrusion machinery applies a protective tape to every PVCu profile in the conservatory. Why should you accept unprotected roof profiles, you would'nt accept the window profiles this way? |

| Global Radius End Information |
 |
The whole Global Roof system uses only two radius ends; the vast majority use our standard solution. This cast aluminium block has pre-cast holes to accommodate nearly all of our conservatories. Both this and the non-standard cast radius incorporate an elevator mechanism to allow all pitch variations. The top and bottom caps for the radius end are PVCu injection moulded, complimenting the consistent colour theme for the whole roof. The bottom cap has two locating positions, again allowing one component to work to all pitches. |

| Global Lead Flash Soaker Bar Information |
 |
The new global starter bar has evolved to remove even more time from the installation process. However, the time saving in this instance is secondary to the finish achieved, in what is perhaps the most specialised area of a conservatory installation, the lead flashing.
Once the glazing bar has been fastened to the wall the lead flashing simply drops into the glazing bar. Then the sculptured top cap knocks on in exactly the same way as all other glazing bars, except now it creates a perfect lead flashing line seamlessly connecting home to conservatory.

| Global Tie Bars Information |
 |
Traditionally, tie bars are fitted with two bolts straight through from the inside of the conservatory to the external drainage channels.
This tradition is not maintained with Global. Our specially engineered tie bar brackets bolt directly into the glazing bars central bolt slot. Water fastness is not compromised by the structural integrity of a tie bar. |

| Global Tie Bar Removal Kit Information |
 |
This innovative new bolting system ties the glazing bars of the conservatory in situ with a grub screw housed through the shank of the 13mm M8 bolt. When tightened this grub screw locks into the glazing bar, supporting extra load.
When used in conjunction with the stainless steel eaves cleat, supporting this extra load the global roof removes the requirement for many three way tie bars, and nearly all five way tie bars.

| Global Synerjy Trim Pack Information |
 |
Synseal have pioneered the complete conservatory concept, and the launch of the sculptured SynerJy window system gives the opportunity to extend this theory further.
The SynerJy trim pack cloaks the entire inside face of a Global conservatory with the identical sculpture detail featured on the window and door profile. Once again creating the complete conservatory by removing the point at which windows finish and roof starts.
