Our glass centre is linked to a CAD design department ensuring customer specification is met. Each and every unit is entered onto this bespoke software programme that links directly to the automated cutting centre which determines optimum cutting of glass and minimises waste. Following the cutting, state of the art equipment cleans the glass in a three stage wash process in readiness for the hot melt sealing procedure.
In addition to float glass production we also manufacture Georgian Bar and leaded glass units in our specialist glass area.
Quality checks are performed at every stage of the process with a final inspection on completion. We are, at present in the process of having our units approved to EN1279 standard and expect completion early 2007.
